Human Cranial Series
It is appropriate to explain the terminology used in this catalog. It is undeniable that too much variation exists in the human species to be able to categorize each individual into three or four races or populations or whatever nomenclature we choose to use. Also, regardless of which terms are used to describe ourselves, if they are used with malice, one should justifiably become angry and suspicious of intent. At the same time, terms must be used in any catalog which will give the purchaser information about what he or she is purchasing. Casts are numbered in the order in which the originals were received for casting.
